It is a bit of a grind but nothing compared to the agony of not having enough gold which hinders your progress in the game. There are a few things you can do to get more money in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord. This is my first solution posted, so let me know if it needs improving in any way.Mount and Blade 2: Bannelord Gold Farming I managed to steal 3 cattle at the seventh village I visited. If, like me, you weren't lucky first time just keep travelling to other villages and follow the same process until you loot 3 cattle in one go. Accept the option to steal and if you're very lucky, you will steal 3 cattle on your first attempt. With your Looting at 1 you will be notified you can steal a maximum of 3 cattle. In the village menu select 'Take hostile action' and then 'Steal Cattle'. Now travel from village to village alone (don't recruit anyone).
The Merchant from that city will want you to do their quest, simply decline and then leave the city. The Pathfinding and Spotting skills are important so that you are quicker on the world map and be able to spot enemies from further away so they can be avoided.Ĭhoose any of the starter cities and defeat the bandit. All of my stat points went into Intelligence, 1 skill point in Looting and the remaining skill points in Pathfinding and Spotting. I chose the impoverished noble, squire and forced out of land/home for my new character's background (making sure no background points went into looting). This enables you to steal a maximum of 3 cattle from a village. The key thing is to have your Looting skill at 1 (no higher or lower). You need to steal 3 cattle in one go, it isn't cumulative. If, like me, you missed this achievement when conquering all of Calradia then it can be quickly obtained by starting a new game.
